soccer mom poetry

the sky is incredibly blue and
the breeze is soft and
the sun is warmly beginning to descend in the sky
casting long shadows
over long boys
finishing soccer practice
in this grass field where I
quite contentedly
scribble musings
in my pink flowery journal and
thank god in all her forms
for the grandeur of my life
holy heck!
blessed be.

Hey! I'm Hil. My friend, Melissa, also in Asheville, recommended your blog to me, and said that I remind her of you! Now I'm all blushing and flattered and stuff because, come on, I've been reading. You are SO cool! : )
I'm 27, living in Pa, and I am also the single mother of two, although mine are girls. It's all glitter and fairy wings and Angelina Ballerina. I also work from home, and I adore your writing. I really like the stuff you think is bad, the barfing out your woes on the page. Your thoughtfully constructed writing is beautiful, but the unconstructed is valueable for it's honesty.
You are invted to check me out at Hilthethrill.diaryland.com.
Happy Mabon! Hope you are harvesting in all areas of your life! Hil
